Privacy Policy & Security Guarantee
At NoUploadConverter, your privacy is not merely a legal statement—it is the foundational architecture of our software. Every file conversion, image compression, and PDF manipulation runs 100% locally in your browser RAM.
No Server Storage
Your files are never transmitted across the internet to remote servers or cloud databases.
In-Memory Sandboxing
Processing executes strictly inside your browser tab memory using WebAssembly and HTML5 Canvas.
Zero Data Mining
We do not scan, inspect, read, or sell the content or metadata of any file you process.
1. How Your Files Are Handled
When you drag and drop or select a file on NoUploadConverter, the file is read into your browser's local volatile memory (RAM) via standard HTML5 FileReader APIs. The conversion calculations—whether resizing an image, merging PDF documents, or extracting audio—are performed by JavaScript and WebAssembly compiled code executing on your device's processor (CPU/GPU).
Once you download your converted output or close/refresh the browser tab, the temporary memory buffer is automatically reclaimed and cleared by your browser's garbage collector. No copy persists anywhere.
2. Local Storage and Cookies
NoUploadConverter does not store user profiles, passwords, or authentication cookies. We utilize standard browser localStorage strictly for UI preferences:
theme: Remembers your selected dark or light mode color preference.
3. Web Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymization to gather high-level aggregate metrics (such as page views, visitor country, and browser type) to help us diagnose performance bottlenecks and decide which converter tools to build next. Analytics tags do not have access to, nor do they transmit, any of your file contents or file names.
4. GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Because NoUploadConverter never collects, transmits, stores, or processes personal file data on servers, we comply by design with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and international privacy frameworks. There are no cloud data databases to breach or subpoena.
